According to data from Kenya’s Communication Authority, Safaricom had the highest number of mobile subscribers at the end of 2023.
Safaricom had a total of 44,013,156 (44.01 million) subscribers with 42.88 million prepaid subscribers and 1.14 million post-paid subscribers.
Airtel was in second place with 19,387,460 (19.3 million) subscribers.
