A 2024 Passport Power Index report shows that Seychelles has the most powerful passport in the African region. The Seychelles passport is ranked 23rd globally with the ability to visit 104 countries without requiring a visa.
Owners of Seychelles passports can also get visa on arrival to 41 countries but require visas for 53 countries.
Mauritius and South Africa take the 2nd and 3rd spot respectively in Africa.
